Midnight Fantasy: an unexpected gallery exhibition
When the owner of Kizuna told us about her wish to feature talented artists within the community, we knew we wanted to contribute. It has always been part of our philosophy to create and build connections between people. On that very day, the [ Kizuna Artist Collab ] was born.
Min strikes us as a vibrant, multi-talented individual. He was one of the first customers of Kizuna when they opened during circuit-breaker and soon became a friend. One look at his instagram page (@mintydaily) and you would be amazed. He dabbles in food styling, hand lettering, illustration, papercraft – basically just creating beautiful things. Is there anything he cannot do?
Marrying our mutual love for coffee and art, we decided to launch an artist exhibition on an unexpected medium – the cold brew bottles.
The story behind Midnight Fantasy
“Midnight Fantasy is a series of reflections that capture my dark side. Life isn’t all butterflies and sunshine. There are days when shadows suddenly burst forth, turning even the brightest smiles to gloom. At these times, my mind fleets away to fantasies – of a blind man wandering around with a light on his hand; to a place where corals and mushrooms live together; to wide pitch-black spaces where nothing is visible except hopeless yellow spots. This is how my feelings speak to me.” -Min
The four Midnight Fantasy Cold Brews will be released sequentially, starting from [ The Dream ], [ The Illusion ], [ The Lost ], and finally [ The Shadow ].
Information on the artist can be found at the back of the cold brew label, with a QR code that will direct collectors to a landing page where they may find out more information about the artist, or contact them.
Midnight Fantasy Cold Brews – Retailing at SGD6 (black) and SGD7 (white) at Kizuna.
